We were required to produce lightweight, fast applications and components that complemented the client's AuthorWare based products. This included a configurable CD-ROM autoplayer, a training environment controller, and a fast HTML search engine component.

The client required a downloadable application for navigating their dynamic subscriber content areas. As well as being remotely updatable with the latest information, it also had to fun to use. We fulfilled all these design criteria in just an 80Kb download. The user interface was capable of being collapsed and 'thrown' around the desktop when not in use!

Perfection required an easy to use system that allowed their sales staff to produce high quality printed quotations whilst 'on the road' at shows and exhibitions. We developed an intelligent MS Word template that did just that.

The client wished to fax designs to their customers using a PC to ensure optimum clarity. We supplied the necessary hardware and software, and developed some small applications to 'glue' the entire solution together to ensure it was as easy to use as possible.

Elphin
That's us!

Our hardware trade counter is completely powered by Elphin software. On the shop floor, we have Elphin PC's hooked up to barcode scanners and cash drawers. These run custom designed Point-of-Sale software that is linked to a backend stock control database. In addition, we have designed software for automatically generating print price lists, and systems for keeping the web-based catalogue up to date. Elphin software also prints the barcoded labels for each product!
